30-Day Notice To Vacate
Our leases require a 30-day notice to move out. For a month-to-month contract, a minimum 30-day written notice is required by law unless both parties agree to a lesser time frame, provided it is not less than 7 days. If your tenancy has been one year or more, the landlord is required to give you a 60-day notice but you can give a landlord a 30-day notice to vacate. Notice must be in writing. The time frame starts the day after notice is received.

Refunds And Security Deposits
Refunds of Security Deposits are subject to cleaning and/or repairs needed beyond normal wear and
tear on the home. John L. Scott Property Management’s definition of clean and wear and tear is final.
